Krista + Tyler

Krista & Tyler's August 2014 wedding is like nothing you have ever seen before. It is one of the sweetest, most colorful, fun-est (yes, fun-est) weddings I have ever captured. To this day i still often think about this wedding and how lively and fun it was.

These two wanted their wedding to be fun, colorful, and bursting with love. To accomplish this they were married in the gorgeous Salt Lake City Temple and chose a Vintage County Fair inspired wedding. I absolutely adored the bright sunset hues of reds, corals, yellows, and oranges that they chose for their big day! The details didn't overwhelm the wedding either but rather gave it a dreamy and yet playful carefree nod to a young {and still} hip wedding!

The reception included shaved ice, handmade booths that serviced jams, breads, and all you can eat Popcorn complete with eye catching decor!!! They also had a photo booth with fun props…the pictures are priceless!

Krista and Tyler danced to "Can't help falling in love" by Ingrid Michaelson, which to this day still makes me weep like a babe whenever i look at their pictures. The Father/Daughter dance was darling as they danced to "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle but wait it didn't stop there! Krista is an amazing dancer and now everyone knows where she gets her moves. Her Father and her broke into "Do You Love Me?' by The Contours, amazing the crowd with their mad dance skills.

In Kristas own words:

"My wedding day was magical. From the brunch held by Tylers family, to the sealing that far exceeded my expectations of paradise, to the adorable, relaxed, fun reception which all my friends and family attended, everything just fit US perfectly."

One of my favorite moments of the night was when it full on started to rain and just about everyone ran for cover but these two. They just kept on dancing like they were alone and no one was watching. I, of all people, cherish this sweet moment and I'm so glad i was there at the right time to capture it and risking my equipment getting wet.
